Select the Guide Curve option to select guide curves that connect the loft curve to control the shape of the loft. Optional: Select the Closed Loft option to create a loft that is a closed path from the first and last curve in the selection. You can adjust the tangency of this connection by setting the value in the command browser. If the first and last curve picked is the edge of an existing surface, the loft will automatically become smoothly connected from the existing surface. The number of curves selected will appear in the Loft Creation command bar. Select the curves to be used in the loft. The Loft Surface Creation Toolbar will appear to allow the options available for the loft surface creation. Select the Loft Icon on the Surfacing Fluent Ribbon Bar. Guide Curves can be added to help shape the loft during creation or editing.Ĭreate 3D curves or part edges in the scene or as features of Structured Parts to be used in the loft surface creation. An option to have the loft surface to become a closed loop is available at right-click of the loft IntelliShape. Users can change the match point during creation by deselecting the curve and selecting at the opposite end of the curve. Match Points are created between each selection denoting the orientation and path of the loft surface.
